A collection of works by Grethe Agatz, a composer/music educator who is a pioneer of children's music in Denmark. She grew up in a family where music and dance were familiar to her from an early age, and was particularly influenced by jazz. Her style is cheerful and danceable, and all of her songs are cheerful and danceable. Incorporating a wide range of musical styles such as Dixieland jazz, country, calypso, reggae, and Latin, the songs are catchy and hook-filled that children will want to sing and dance to. This CD includes a total of 22 songs, each featuring an accompaniment that effectively uses percussion and children's songs.
