The Plastik Beatniks - All Those Streets I Must Find Cities [NEW]
The Plastik Beatniks, a unit made up of Notwist's Acher brothers, writer Andreas Ammer, and loop maker Leo Hopfinger, pays homage to one of the few black beat poets, Bob Kaufman.
Jazzy, freaky, and sometimes psychedelic sound collages and loop tracks mixed with readings by Patti Smith, interviews with Allen Ginsberg, raps by Adam "DoseOne", and unreleased audio from Bob Kaufman himself. It is a content that revisits the words and rhythms left behind by Bob in modern times.
Limited to 500 pieces. The artwork is silk screened.
