THE NUTTY SQUIRRELS - BIRD WATCHING [used]
The 2nd album released in 1960 by THE NUTTY SOUIRRELS, a virtual unit composed of Don Elliott and Sascha Burland, who also work on jazz-based commercials and TV music.
The concept of using a high-speed tape spinning vocal effect to have a cartoon squirrel character singing in a cute high-tone voice followed the style of Alvin & the Chipmunks, which was very popular at the time.
You can see the unique personality of this unit in their approach of singing a jazzy and romantic number with two scatts.
In the stereo version, Sasha's voice is on the left and Don's voice is on the right.
