Federico Durand - El libro de los árboles mágicos (12th Anniversary Edition)[NEW]

Sale price¥2,695 JPY
In stock

Released by Brighton-based ambient label Home Normal, this is a reissue of the 2012 work by Argentine artist Federico Durand.

The theme of this work is the landscape of Serranita, a small mountain village in the Argentine province of Cordoba, where his mother lives. There, eucalyptus and espinillo trees grow lush and green, the scent of mint and rosemary fills the air, and at night, insects rustle among the leaves, and occasionally the cries of owls can be heard.
This fairy tale-like scene is woven together through layers of acoustic instruments, drone synths, and field recordings.
A postcard with the edition number and the same design as the front jacket is included.
Limited to 100 copies.
