Tullycraft - Old Traditions, New Standards [used]
This is the first full-length album released in 1996 by Tullycraft, a twee pop band from Seattle, USA.
Noisy but not heavy guitar distortion, a freaky and minimal ensemble, and cute melodies that suddenly appear.
Their style is in line with the indie pop/alternative rock movement that was happening simultaneously in the US and UK in the 1990s, such as Glasgow acts like The Pastels and Vaselines, and works on the K Records and Sub Pop labels, and is a mix of adolescent frustration and a hint of romanticism.
B2 "Pop Songs Your New Boyfriend's Too Stupid to Know About" is a popular song that also received high praise from Pitchfolk. A5 "Superboy & Supergirl" was later used as an insert song in the Netflix drama "The End of the F***ing World."
