A collection of 76 carefully selected works from the 10,000 unpublished slides that were left carelessly in the studio of New York-based photographer Saul Leiter after his death.
This book contains "street photos" that can be said to be the true essence of Saulleiter's work. His unique composition and color sense, which depicts poetic scenes sometimes like a painting and sometimes like a movie, from ordinary everyday scenes in Manhattan, can now be enjoyed as a ``new work''.
