Hiroshi Nagai - THE JOURNEY BEGINS (Cloth-bound) [NEW]

This is an all-time best-of collection of works by Hiroshi Nagai, an illustrator who has created numerous record jackets, including the cover art for Eiichi Ohtaki's "A LONG VACATION," and advertisements. The works were personally selected by Nagai himself.

The deep blue sea, sun-drenched poolside, palm trees swaying in the wind — these iconic elements are pop-artfully arranged, bringing to life on paper the "city and paradise that seem to exist somewhere but are nowhere to be found" that the music aspiring to be "CITY POP" sought to portray.

This expanded and revised new edition features a paper-bound cover, a change from the cloth-bound cover of the first edition. Three new works have also been added.
