A 1990 work by the COCTAILS, an indie band formed at the Kansas City Art Institute.
The freaky performance, recorded in one take, eccentrically wanders between the boundaries of lounge jazz and garage rock, but an intelligent sense of humor runs throughout, and its goofy flavor is somewhat reminiscent of NRBQ.
This is the band's first album, a record of their playful, pop and innocent period in their later years, when they experimented with a more avant-garde style mixing jazz and indie rock.
