A 1995 12-inch EP featuring three versions of "Root Down," a cut from the album "Ill Communication," plus seven additional live takes.

"Root Down" (B1) samples jazz organist Jimmy Smith's "Root Down (And Get It)." "Time To Get Ill" (A2) evolves the original's cheap TR-808 beat into a dark, heavy rhythm. "Sabrosa" (A5) presents an instrumental from the album as a jam session featuring Money Mark and Eric Bobo.

This masterpiece captures one of the coolest moments of the Beastie Boys, who reigned as an absolute icon of 90s street culture, transcending the boundaries of hip-hop.

The design was handled by Mike Mills, known for his extensive graphic design and editorial work for Grand Royal, and also as a film director.
