SOFTIES - THE BED I MADE (LP) [NEW]

The Softies is a duo featuring Rose Melberg (Tiger Trap, Gaze, Go Sailor) and Jen Sbragia (All Girl Summer Fun Band). This is their first original album in 24 years, following their previous release, “Holiday In Rhode Island” (2000).

Their style—minimalist arrangements of clean-tone electric guitar and vocal harmonies depicting unadorned, everyday poetry—remains unchanged, and the cute, fresh impression they leave is surprisingly intact.
The enduring transparency that seems to have filtered through and emerged over the long years even evokes a quiet sense of awe.
The artwork was created by Japanese printmaker Fumi Yanagimoto.
