This is the first solo album by Honda Shinsuke, guitarist of the Japanese folk rock band "Honey Pie," released in 1983.
It is a conceptual work that is linked to the musical context of new age, environmental music, and resort music that was gaining popularity in Japan at the time, and the guitar tones, which are sometimes meditative and sometimes tense, depict the enchanting beauty of the sunset.
Its genre-less approach and cinematic soundscapes inadvertently resonate with ECM's work as well as ambient and Balearic musical orientations, and it continues to exude original appeal as chill music to listen to today.
