Pete Jolly - Seasons (2024 reissue “CLEAR LIGHT GREEN WAX”) [used]

An experimental jazz-funk album by West Coast jazz pianist Pete Jolly, who has been active since the 1950s.

Originally released in 1970, this trippy, experimental jazz-funk masterpiece captures West Coast pianist Pete Jolly stepping away from traditional jazz into a world of electric keys, funky breaks, and irresistible improvisation. It’s no wonder tracks from this album were later sampled by hip-hop legends like J Dilla, Cypress Hill, and De La Soul.

Reissued on clear light green wax, the album’s vibrant autumn leaf cover brings a warm seasonal touch to your turntable and space.
