Penny Arcade - A GIRL FROM PENNY ARCADE [NEW]

Penny Arcade was a band that played a central role in Tokyo's guitar pop scene in the 1980s.
Its only official sound source "A GIRL FROM PENNY ARCADE" is reissued on the same cassette tape as the original.
The master uses the 2016 remastered sound source.
The DL code also includes the bonus track recorded on the CD, and the liner and lyrics by Asako Koide can be viewed and downloaded using the QR code.

■ Penny Arcade

Formed in 1986 by guitarist Masato Ishida and vocalist Yoko Satori, they were part of the UK neo-acoustic scene, including Lolipop Sonic, the predecessor band of Flipper's Guitar, and Osaka's Debonaire, known as Japan's oldest neo-acoustic band, as well as C86. One of the few originators of Japanese guitar pop and indie that corresponded with the indie scene represented by , and was already active with all English lyrics from that time.
Ishida later formed Venus Peter, and Satori was active in the indie and guitar pop scene of Tokyo in the 1990s as members of Marble Hammock and Daffodil 19.
This generation later came to be known as the Shibuya-kei, centered around Flipper's guitars.
This sound source was produced in 1988 to commemorate the band's disbandment and released on cassette. In 1992, it was reissued on Venus Peter's label Wonder Release Records as a limited edition of 1,000 copies, and it immediately sold out, making it a long-awaited record. It was called an album.
