An eight-track EP from Peel Dream Magazine, led by Los Angeles-based musician Joseph Stevens.
This work is a collection of outtakes from the same sessions, complementing the worldview of the 2024 album Rose Main Reading Room and positioned as its "companion work."
Against a diverse musical backdrop that brings to mind the organic, visual sound images of Yo La Tengo, the repetitive beats and spacey feel of Stereolab, the melancholic and delicate writing of Belle and Severnstian, and even the essence of Sufjan Stevens, the Beach Boys, and minimal music, the album lyrically depicts a clear and intimate scene that could be described as a midwinter daydream.
