Margo Gurjan, who had been active as a composer since the late 1950s, produced her first solo album as a performer in 1968. Dreamy melodies influenced by the Beach Boys' "Pet Sounds," a rich musical background that has influenced jazz and classical music, and aggressive rock rhythms. Its beautiful floating feeling and stimulating experimental spirit led to a re-evaluation of the album in the late '90s, and it has become one of the most representative albums of '60s sunshine pop.
This is a 2024 reissue released by Numero, newly remastered by Jessica Thompson.
