Margo Guryan - 28 DEMOS (SUN RED VINYL) [NEW]

A collection of demo recordings by American singer-songwriter/composer Margo Guryan.
"27 DEMOS" was released as an expanded version of the demo collection "25 DEMOS" released in 2001, and includes the unreleased song "I Ought To Stay", which was suddenly released on 7-inch in 2023.
A total of 28 songs are included, including "Away From You."
All of the recordings included were produced from the late 1960s to the early 1970s, and this compilation captures the brilliance of his raw material, including songs he wrote for artists such as Bobbie Gentry, Jackie DeShannon, Claudine Longet, Carmen McCrae, and Julie London, as well as songs from his own album, "TAKE A PICTURE."
The jacket, featuring Margo's portrait in silver, also makes a powerful impact.
