Born in Tokyo, the sisters both studied at the Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry. While focusing on metal-based fashion jewelry and traditional techniques respectively, they both gradually became drawn to the world of ceramics. In 2013, they held their first sister exhibition at a gallery in Daikanyama Hillside Terrace, Tokyo, which served as their entry into a serious pursuit of pottery. Since then, they have held regular solo and joint exhibitions. Their unique world of work has gradually gained recognition, and they have been featured in shops and exhibitions across the country. Their popularity continues to grow, with fans from overseas now visiting to purchase their pieces.
