Zoot Sims' playing is at the forefront throughout the album, and includes live-feeling sessions such as the lyrical ballad "Violets For Your Furs" (A2) and the swingy high-speed hard bop "Wee-Dot." Along with the impressive cover art created by designer Reed Miles, it is a piece that gives you a taste of the cool feeling that was unique to Blue Note from this era.
