This is the second album from the duo consisting of synthesizer player Jeremiah Chiu and violinist Marta Sofia Honer, both LA-based musicians.
Combining real-time improvisation with collages and edited works using field recordings and other materials, the piece unfolds an abstract sound world that weaves between deconstruction and construction, consciousness and unconsciousness, chance and necessity.
The drawing by Sam Prekop of The Sea and Cake, a friend of the two, also takes an improvisational approach, creating an impressive cover in which the music and visual art influence each other.
