The debut album by Leeds-born saxophonist/composer Jasmine Myra, produced by Gondwana Records label owner Matthew Halsall himself.
This work was created with the aim of creating music that lifts people's spirits after experiencing the mental isolation they faced during the lockdown period. Her performance has a thoughtful touch that is linked to her appearance as a young thinker, and the rich ensemble of young local Leeds musicians brings together an intellectual and euphoric performance that traverses ECM jazz, electronica, and neoclassical. The sound is unfolding.
