This is a collaborative work of prints and text by Yanagimoto Akira and Tonoshima Takashi, following on from the long-selling book "A Rain Dog."

The setting is Ginza from before the war to during the war.
Jun lived a quiet life, writing poetry, until he suddenly disappeared with his black cat just before the Ginza air raid in 1945.
A dialogue between the elderly husband who continues to search for her, and his granddaughter, Nono. A back and forth between the past and present, words and silence...

This work, the first in the <HOMEMADE series> series, is "a small piece that is intended to be enjoyed repeatedly, like a single record or a piano piece of less than two minutes in length," and contains a story and 11 original multi-color prints (including the cover) in a compact, modified B6 size.
This book gives a sense of the transience and quiet strength of fantasy in the face of turbulent times.

The back of the obi also features an English translation by Jesse Kirkwood, a British translator who has translated works by Matsumoto Seicho, Aoyama Nanae, and Takiguchi Yusei.
