Florist is a four-piece group based in upstate New York. The 4th full-length album to be released in 2022 with the band's name in the title.
After releasing a solo album that reflected the introspection and therapy that followed the disappearance and death of core member Emily Sprague's mother, the album was produced at Renthouse in Hudson Valley, New York, starting in the summer of 2019. This work. A soundscape is created that combines vocals and acoustic guitar that evoke the feeling of longing for time gone by, a meditative backing track, and environmental sounds such as the chirping of birds and insects.
