This is the fifth album by Florist, an indie folk quartet from New York led by Emily A. Sprague.
From the ambient/experimental/sound design approach of the previous work, the style has changed to one of singing and melodies with minimalist performance centered on delicate fingerpicking guitar. While taking up the theme of everyday pain and sadness, he also focuses on the magical power of nature that exists in the world beyond human understanding, projecting it into the form of a jellyfish.
Available in limited edition Jellywish Purple Vinyl, with a color scheme reminiscent of jellyfish floating in the water.
