BECK - JACK-ASS [USED]
A single cut from American artist Beck's 1996 album "Odelay."
"JACK-ASS" is an American slang term used to insult people, meaning "stupid, foolish, or useless," but its original meaning refers to a male donkey.
The songs, which capture the endless melancholic emotions that overflow during a journey, are included in three variations: "Butch Vig Mix" (A1), which samples Northern Irish rock band Them's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue"; "Burro" (A2), a Mexican (mariachi)-style song arranged by his father, David Campbell; and "Strange Invitation" (B1), a tranquil ballad featuring strings.
B2 "Brother" is a track not included on any album, and has an ambient folk sound similar to the direction of later albums "Mutations" and "Sea Change."
