The debut EP of Band a Part, an indie pop duo from Madrid, was released as the third in the ``New adventure in pop'' series of newcomer support projects on Spain's Elefant label.
With lyricism in the vein of Belle & Sebastian and Camera Obscura, and a colorful pop omnivorous sensibility that is reminiscent of Shibuya Kei/J-POP from around 2000, this work is easily familiar to Japanese listeners.
