A collection of works in which Higuchi Yuko has uniquely interpreted the worldview depicted by 16th century European painters Hieronymus Bosch and Pieter Bruegel the Elder. Popular characters that the artist has created in the past , such as Cat and Hitotsume-chan, are seamlessly depicted in the chaotic compositions created with delicate brushstrokes , adding an even more fantastical quality to the world of Bosch and Bruegel, which is already imbued with a profound story-like quality. The new edition, published in 2024, has a completely new case, title page, and colophon. The book itself feels like a work of art, with the incorporation of "engraving" a printing technique that is almost identical to that used in 16th century copperplate prints, and foil stamping applied throughout.
