800 cherries is a bedroom pop unit from Sapporo active in the late 90s. This album is a reissue of their LP "romantico" released by the US March label in 1999, with the release of "KiliKiliVilla". A 2023 reissue by Kirikiri Villa .
A postmodern pop sensibility intertwines with a surreal and innocent worldview, nostalgic yet future-oriented, familiar yet always exotic, allowing you to enjoy a mysterious sound trip that can only be found here.
This reissue recreates the original packaging, with the green clear vinyl housed in a PVC slipcase, and features a 2022 remastered sound source.
