The first art book by Akira Minagawa, the founding designer of the brand "Mina Perhonen." The 630 illustrations, which were not drawn for textiles but were commissioned by newspapers, have been compiled into two volumes. Kaoru Kasai is in charge of the art direction, including the box-bound binding and the simple and beautiful text layout, with one item per page.

The volume ``Let's go to the forest'' contains all the color illustrations of Hiromi Kawakami's full-length novel ``Let's go to the forest'', which was serialized in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun from January 2016 to February 2017. (including illustrations drawn for the cover), and the "Thoughts on Sundays" volume includes the monochrome illustrations for the Asahi Shimbun's "Thoughts on Sundays" column, which has been running since April 2016, in December 2021. All points up to the moon.

For Minagawa, painting is a ``slightly strange experience, as if something that existed within me that had remained unconscious had come to the surface, or as if a light had been shone on it.'' Also included is an interview (interviewer Hiroyuki Matsuya) in which he talks about his sincere thoughts about painting, such as the psychology behind painting, what art materials he uses, and its relationship with his main business of fashion design.
