This is a book version of a work that manga artist Yugure Uchusen published online at the end of 2023 in response to reports of Israel's genocidal attacks on Gaza.
Once one recognizes that the war in another country is connected to one's own life, various thoughts, conflicts, and self-contradictions arise.
In order to stop and face these issues each time, and not let his daily life be taken away by overwhelming forces, the author sympathizes with the "little ones" before him and vows to protect them.
The intensity of his paintings, which are not motivated by any ethical or social sense of justice but are instead squeezed out of actual living, is truly punk.
