Important Update on International Shipping (A Message from the Owner)

Hello everyone,

Thank you as always for your continued support of rovakk musikk. Today, I would like to share an important update regarding our international shipping policy, particularly for our customers in Europe.

Since August of last year, we have been directing our European customers to our AbeBooks storefront. Our main goal was to provide a seamless, "all-inclusive" pricing system so that you wouldn't have to worry about paying additional VAT or customs fees upon delivery. 

However, after running this system for several months, we encountered unforeseen challenges. The purchase flow across different platforms proved to be confusing for many, and we realised that AbeBooks' unique specifications did not always align well with our store's independent policies and the personalised service we strive to offer. 

Furthermore, with global customs and tax systems changing so rapidly, it has become increasingly difficult to guarantee stable, all-inclusive pricing for everyone. 

Because of these reasons, effective today, March 25, 2026, we have decided to unify our system. All international orders, including those to Europe, will now be processed directly through our own website and shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis. 

For our European customers, we understand that this means the slight inconvenience of having to pay VAT and customs duties to your local postal service upon receiving your package. We sincerely  apologise  for this extra step and kindly ask for your understanding as we make this necessary transition. 

Please know that we are always looking for better ways to serve you. Should a more efficient and customer-friendly shipping method become available in the future, we will actively and gladly adopt it.

いつもrovakk musikkをご愛顧いただきありがとうございます。本日は、海外発送のポリシー、特にヨーロッパのお客様に向けた重要なお知らせがあります。

お客様が商品受け取り時に追加の支払いをする手間を省くため、当店では昨年8月より、ヨーロッパのお客様にはAbeBooksのシステムを採用し、税金等がすべて包括された料金でアイテムをご提供してきました。

しかし実際に運用してると、購入フローの分かりづらさや、AbeBooks独自の仕様と当店のポリシーとのアンマッチなど、さまざまな問題が発生しました。これは実施してみて初めて分かったことです。

また、昨今の世界の関税システムは目まぐるしく変化しており、安定した包括料金をご提示し続けることも困難であると予想されます。

これらの理由から、本日2026年3月25日より、システムを当店サイトに一本化し、ヨーロッパを含むすべての海外のお客様への発送を「DDU（関税等受取人払い）」にて行うことといたしました。

特にヨーロッパのお客様につきましては、お受け取りの際に関税等のお支払いという若干のご面倒をおかけしてしまうことになりますが、何卒ご理解いただけますと幸いです。

よりベターな方法があれば、当店は今後も積極的に取り入れていきます。
