Working Week is a unit formed around Weekend's guitarist Simon Booth and saxophonist Larry Stabbins. 1985 single.
Featuring female vocalist Juliet Roberts, they blended authentic bebop, which was gaining momentum for reappraisal in the London club scene at the time, with a taste of Latin jazz and funky soul. The result is a stylish piece that can be called the origin of later acid jazz.
