The Hepburns are an indie pop band from Llanelli, Wales. A 10-inch with 9 songs released in 2000 after a gap of over 10 years since the first LP from CHERRY RED.
Even at this point in his career, his songs are filled with the blue sensibilities of adolescence, layering an elegant, cinematic melody directly descended from Bacharach with melancholy like the British sky, and depicting them with simple, life-sized guitar sounds. Leaves a sweet and sour aftertaste.
The front cover features letter art using the lyrics of "Jackie O" (A1).
