The 27th issue of the booklet "mürren" (published in September 2022), edited by Akiko Wakana, is based on the concept of "between the city and the mountains."
In this issue, we focus on the handwritten notes of various mountaineers who record their mountain journeys. The book introduces the benefits of handwriting, which can only be experienced in the mountains where there is no radio waves or power supply, in the midst of the age of digital devices, and the charm of handwriting as a memory device that can revive the atmosphere and feelings that cannot be captured in data.
The folded pages on the cover can be unfolded, and the mountain climbing notebook actually used is printed in large format.
