There's something sad and humorous about the sight of a stuffed animal that has become tattered from accepting a child's direct expressions of love.
Even now that the story of someone's life is imprinted on their bodies and they have become "one-of-a-kind" items that cannot be replaced by anything else, I can't help but feel fondness for the stuffed animals that silently continue to be close to their owners. I can't stay anymore.
