Michael Kenna - PHOTOGRAPHS AND STORIES [NEW]

This is a collection of works published to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the career of Michael Kenna, a British photographer living in the United States.
The exhibition is divided into two sections: "Photographs" and "Stories." In the former, the artist has selected one photograph for each year since 1973. In the latter, the artist himself provides commentary and insight into the background of each photograph.
Kenna's black and white world, printed with a sublime aesthetic sense, captures the light of nature at each moment and place, and is filled with a dignified, tense atmosphere, projecting a landscape from another world that seems otherworldly.
