A solo album released in 1982 by British singer-songwriter Tracey Thorn (Everything But The Girl / Marine Girls). The sound is minimal, consisting of only simple guitar accompaniment and her vocals, but the space left in the sound paradoxically accentuates the languid, poetic image of the songs, and the clean, refreshing atmosphere could also serve as a cool antithesis to the noisy, hedonistic rock and pop of the time. The softly drawn drawings by Jane Fox, who was also a member of Marine Girls, also reflect the cool sensibility that permeates this work. This edition is exclusive to Japan and includes two additional single tracks (A6, B1) under the name Everything But The Girl, including a cover of Cole Porter's "Night And Day."
