The sound, which reflects the relationship between Genoa and Rio de Janeiro, where immigration and cultural exchanges have been active since the late 19th century, has many musical similarities with original bossa nova, but it also has the sounds of Ligurian and sounds that were influenced by the sounds of Italian at the time. It is somewhat different in that it blends elements of library/cinema music, which was at its peak in 2016.
