Strawberry Guy is a solo project by Alex Stephens, a Welsh-born SSW living in Liverpool. 1st full album released in winter 2021.
Influenced by 19th century Romantic composers such as Debussy and Ravel, this work was created at his home in Liverpool during lockdown and far exceeds the scale of what the term 'bedroom pop' might suggest. Multi-layered sound creation. Just like Monet's painting ``Meadow at Giverny'', which was used as the cover art, the album uses an ordinary scene as a motif to create a dreamy soundscape. 180g "Baby Blue" color vinyl.
