A reissue LP of a 1982 work by Japanese musician Satoshi Ashikawa. Under the influence of Erik Satie's "furniture music" and Brian Eno's ambient music, "ambient music" was a trend that attempted to reinterpret and reconstruct them in a unique way in Japan in the 1980s. This work is a representative piece of that movement, with a score written by Mr. Ashikawa and a minimal soundscape with flute, vibraphone, harp, and piano performances. The poeticism that emerges as a result of stoically depicting a quiet state without overt emotional expression is a beauty reminiscent of a Zen garden.
