This is the second album of 2021 by Gia Margaret, a singer-songwriter from Chicago, USA.
After the release of her highly successful first album, she was hit by a sudden illness that left her unable to sing for over six months. She produced this instrumental album through the therapy and trials she underwent during her recovery period.
Beautiful synth loops and piano are mixed with spoken word and ambient sound samples to create a delicate and introspective sound image. The flow of the album up to the final song B6, the only vocal song, is linked to the artist's gradual recovery, making it a work that feels documentary and healing.
