The 2nd album of 2021 by Gia Margaret, an American SSW from Chicago.
After the release of her highly successful first album, she suffered an incident where she lost her voice for more than half a year due to a sudden illness.This is an instrumental album that she created through therapy and trials during her recuperation period.
Beautiful synth loops and piano are mixed with spoken word and environmental sound samples to create a delicate and introspective sound image. The flow of the album leading up to B6, the only vocal song and final song titled "Lesson", is also linked to the artist's gradual recovery, and as a result, it feels documentary and healing. It is a work of art.
