A collection of 108 works by Inokuma with cat motifs selected from the collection of the Marugame City Genichiro Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art (MIMOCA), released in 2015.
The number of cats that appear in this book is 690.
Inokuma, who is said to have been an incomparable cat lover, uses his keen observational eye and rich expressiveness to create free-spirited, humorous, and slightly mysterious cats that fill the pages of the book.
Also includes Inokuma's essay on cats, a special contribution by Shuntaro Tanikawa, and an interview with his disciple Shigeo Arai.

"Even though he called it a drawing, he didn't just stare at it. He objectively looked at us and the cats we were caring for, grasped the whole picture, and felt the atmosphere of the place. Therefore, the shape is free. If you try to draw what you see, you won't be able to draw well. You have to capture the moment you pose and create an image. Cats don't stay still."
