Branko is a sound maker from Lisbon, Portugal who is also known as a member of Buraka Som Sistema. 3rd solo album released in 2022.
Incorporating a variety of beats, such as kuduro and kizomba, which originated in Angola and has strong ties to the Portuguese language, and baile funki, which was popular in Brazil, the result is an electronic piece with organic and exotic nuances throughout. All song titles, including the album title "OBG" (abbreviation for "Obrigado"), are derived from Portuguese SMS slang.
