Johanna Linnea Jakobsson is a saxophonist/vocalist originally from Denmark but currently based in Sweden. A debut album released in 2022 by the Oslo jazz label AMP Music & Records.
The album consists of four instrumental songs and four vocal songs, and includes his own originals as well as covers of Schwartz & Dietz's M1, Duke Ellington's M7, and Lennon & McCartney's M5. The result is a calming piece that is familiar to the ears, combining an authentic Scandinavian jazz mood with a singer-songwriter sensibility.
