A collection of works by William Eggleston, an American photographer who is said to be a pioneer of art photography using color film. The film was shot in Memphis, Tennessee between 1966 and 1971, and is a collection of square-format works shot with a 2 1/4-inch camera. Although the original work collection was published in 1999, it is a fresh and interesting experience to reconsider the original American landscape and its colors as captured by Eggleston using a modern frame that is familiar to smartphones and Instagram. ——
