Robert Frank, one of the 20th century's most influential photographers, passed away on September 9, 2019, at the age of 94.
In 1958, Frank published the photo book "The Americans," which captured American society from his personal perspective as an immigrant from Switzerland, and left such an impact that it changed the course of photography history thereafter.
This memorial special looks back on his career, focusing on his relationship with Kazuhiko Motomura of Yugensha Publishing, who produced his photo books "Poetry of My Hands" (1972) and "Flowers are..." (1987) in Japan.
