The Softies, an indie pop duo formed by Rose Melberg and Jen Sbragia, released their debut album in 1995. The autobiographical style of the band, which depicts the subtleties of everyday life through the two band's guitars and harmonies, is instantly recognizable as the Softies, and is already well-established at this point. The artwork was created by American graphic novelist Adrian Tomine, visualizing the duo's casual atmosphere and the sense of tranquility that permeates the album. Includes "This House" (A7), which was sampled by Lil Peep in "Ghost Boy," and a cover of Talulah Gosh's "I Can't Get No Satisfaction, Thank God" (B6). Reissued in 2024.
