This is a collection of photographs taken by photographer and poet Rebecca Norris Webb during her travels to Trieste in Italy, Cape Cod and the Dakotas in the United States, and northern France. The author says that what prompted him to embark on the journey was the death of one of his twin brothers, who soon followed suit and took his own life. The camera captures the beautiful light and the vitality of migratory birds, and the words overlay images onto the landscape. The world that was created after much hesitation is filled with a clear, contemplative feeling.
