A soundtrack album that compiles the songs used in the series ``Multiplication Rock'', which was composed by jazz pianist/composer Bob Dorough, from the music education television program ``Schoolhouse Rock!'' produced by ABC in the United States.
Bob himself does the vocals for most of the songs. Contains 11 pop-friendly soft rock/country rock tracks aimed at helping children learn multiplication while having fun while singing along.
A2 "Three is a magic number" was later quoted by De La Soul and became familiar to fans of hip-hop and free soul. B3 "Figure Eight" features Blossom Dearie as a guest vocalist. 2015 reissue.
