This is the first LP reissue of "Moment," the only album self-released by Ukrainian piano trio Kiev Acoustic Trio in 2013.
The piano is crystal clear, the bass melodious with bowed playing, and the percussion expressively adds color. The three-piece ensemble maintains a neat tension like chamber music, and carves out a calm, meditative time.
Also included are a comment on the obi and preface by Nakagawa Wani, liner notes by Terada Toshihiko (Rain and Holiday), and handwritten sheet music for "The Newborn's Dream / Night Song" by pianist Pavlo Shepeta himself.

About the spelling of "Kiev" in Kiev Acoustic Trio

It has been three years since Ukraine, a country with a beautiful culture, changed its situation. The current international spelling of the capital has changed from Kiev to Kyiv, and the country is now in a position to respect Ukraine's unique identity. Therefore, I thought deeply about whether I should change the artist's name when releasing the record, but ultimately decided to release it under the original name. Even though the content remains the same, I thought that changing the artist's name would rewrite their history, so I chose to use the original name. I hope you will understand.
